BWTS installations of four general cargo ships belonging to Pearl Naval Shipping, which continues its operations within the Alkoç Group, were carried out simultaneously in shipyards in Tuzla and Yalova.
Gürhan Burak Alkoç, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alkoç Group, said that they will add three more river type ships to the fleet in the first quarter of 2024 to support the new cargo agreements made by Pearl Naval after working in the grain corridor for a long time.
Offshore support ships
Stating that they also play a role in MR tanker and medium size container ship operations, Alkoç stated that they decided to purchase two more ships in addition to the two guard and supply ships in order to strengthen their fleet in the offshore projects they are involved in.
