Okto Marine, which announced that it had established its Houston branch in the USA a while ago, also appointed a director.
Scott Birtle, who has 23 years of brokerage, business development and management experience in the industry, will serve as director. It was learned that Birtle will also assume the position of head of special products.
Birtle served as a marine in the US Navy between 1993 and 1999, and then worked as a broker at Atlas Maritime and Clarksons, respectively.
