Burak Savunma Sanayi and Denizsan will supply the technological equipment of 4 fuel oil ships, which will be built by DESAN and ÖZATA shipyards together, within the scope of the needs of the Naval Forces Command by the Presidency of Defense Industry.
Burak Savunma Sanayi and Denizsan signed a contract for technical equipment support for the fuel vessels to be built for the Naval Forces Command.
Burak Savunma Sanayi provides R&D, design, modernization, production, maintenance-repair, and testing services for platforms in the defense industry and the systems/subsystems and equipment in their configuration.
Denizsan is the only company in Turkey that produces low-pressure hydraulic deck machines, operating in the fields of shipbuilding and sub-industry and ship management.
The Fuel Ship Project Contract was signed on 30 December 2021 between the Presidency of Defense Industries and the DESAN-ÖZATA Business Partnership.
The 4 ships to be delivered within the scope of the project will enable the Naval Forces Command to perform its fuel supply task more effectively in the seas inside the port. It is aimed to reach 80 percent of the domestic ships with national design.
The technical features of the Fuel Ship are listed as follows
Top Cruising Speed : 15 knots
Line of Navigation : 500 nautical miles
She can stay at sea for at least 3 days without logistical support.
Fuel supply to 2 ships at the same time.
Drinking water cistern with a capacity of at least 35 tons.
