Novumare Teknoloji, which has made a name for itself with many collaborations in the sector, has become a member of the Ocean Autonomy Cluster, which conducts joint studies on autonomous technologies for the sea and oceans. Noting that a Turkey-based maritime technologies company has been accepted as a member of the cluster for the first time, Novumare Teknoloji Managing Director Ömer Berkay Dağlı said that with this cooperation, our country will gain an important place in the global maritime technologies. Within the scope of the membership, know-how sharing and joint project development activities will be started with many Baltic countries, especially Norway.
The Ocean Autonomy Cluster is Norway’s leading center of expertise for ocean research and autonomous vehicle use. The cluster, which consists of both companies and R&D institutions, aims to determine the future of autonomous technologies by bringing together research and technological development, technology, component and system suppliers, and forward-looking investors. Through collaboration, the cluster’s participants collaborate to conduct safer, more efficient, and precise operations at sea and contribute to making the oceans more sustainable.
