The tugboat, which was part of Sanmar’s own fleet as BOĞAÇAY LIII, has been named VB SEEBULLE by its new owners and joins VB TRAGEN, which was delivered to Boluda Towage earlier this year.
Designed specifically for Sanmar by Robert Allan Ltd, the RAmparts 2400SX, 24.4 metres long, 11.25 metres wide and 5.25 metres deep, VB SEEBULLE, like its sister VB TRAGEN, has a traction power of 80 tonnes.
Equipped with two CAT 3516C main engines, the VB SEEBULLE can reach a free speed of 12.5 knots. The tugboat, which can accommodate up to six crew members, has an ABS Fi-Fi 1 notation.
Sanmar’s relationship with Boluda Towage began in November last year with the sale and delivery of Sanmar’s fleet tugs VB HORUS and VB AMON.
A major international player, Boluda Corporación Marítima operates in Europe, the West Coast of Africa, Cape Verde, Latin America and the Indian Ocean.
