The tug numbered NV717 is counting the days to set sail, one of the 3 new tugs that were signed after ZEETUG, the world’s first zero-emission tug designed by Navtek.
Gisas Power II will be launched at the end of the year, the second of Navtek’s revolutionary ZEETUG series of fully electric zero-emission tugs.
The tugs named ZEETUG are being built at GİSAŞ & NAVTEK BOATYARD (ZEETUG FACTORY) according to the rules of Türk Loydu.
Ferhat Acuner, General Manager of the Navtek Deniz Teknolojileri A.Ş., gave the good news that the zero-emission Gisas Power II tug will sail soon.
The world’s first fully electric tug, ZEETUG30, was delivered to GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş. at the beginning of 2020. Three new tugs (NV719, NV717, NV720) agreement was signed with GİSAŞ POWER, the world’s first zero-emission tug designed by Navtek and selected as the best tug in the voting of International Tug & Salvage Magazine, two with 30 tons of BP and one with 45 tons of BP.
Zero emission tugs with project numbers NV719, NV717, and NV720, whose construction has come to an end, are expected to be delivered to GİSAŞ at the end of 2022.
