The Russia-Ukraine war, along with the sanctions against Russia, left the European countries alone with the energy crisis. Some governments in Europe have started negotiations with the Turkish energy company Karpowership to get through this winter.
In this context, the power ship Orhan Ali Khan set off for Hamburg, Germany. Orhan Ali Khan, built in 2001 with a capacity of 460 MW, is the world’s largest power ship with a length of 289 meters and a width of 45 meters.
Karpowership’s CCO Zeynep Harezi recently announced that they serve with power ships in 19 countries on all continents except Europe and that they can send the first power ship to Europe in a few weeks.
