Bengisu Keleş, who graduated from Istanbul University Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering Department, started to work as an oceangoing watchkeeping officer at DİTAŞ Marine Management and Tankership Inc. Keleş is also volunteer at DÖDER and TURMEPA.
DİTAŞ Marine Management and Tankership Inc. was established in İstanbul on 16.03.1974 by TPAO, İPRAŞ, and the Turkish Naval Foundation to purchase, build or lease marine tankers of various tonnage and quality and use them in the sea transportation of domestic or international crude oil and petroleum products. One of the founding partners, the Turkish Naval Foundation became the TAFF-Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, and İPRAŞ became TÜPRAŞ- Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri Inc.
It was included in the KOÇ Group Companies upon its purchase by Enerji Yatırımları Inc. on 26.01.2006.
