Following 18 years working for Numarine across various departments, Murat Şen has been appointed as General Manager. Previously working as the shipyard’s factory manager for the past eight years, Şen will be harnessing his hands-on experience in his new role.
“This is a great opportunity to lead the company that I’ve been in since I started my professional life. Through my knowledge of the company culture and the team I believe the path to a successful future will continue for Numarine,” said Murat Şen.
The Turkish shipyard will also be expanding its services with the addition of new Sales and Marketing Director Bengü Özdoğan. First joining Numarine in November 2023, Bengü’s new role will see her lead Numarine’s sales, after- sales and marketing initiatives.
Previously working for the MB92 Group, Bengü Özdoğan brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be utilising her extensive knowledge of marketing, sales strategy and partnership management.
The appointments of Murat Şen and Bengü Özdoğan come following Numarine’s announcement that the first 30.75-metre diesel-electric 30XP superyacht will be launched in summer 2024.
The shipyard also announced that they will be launching three new-build superyachts by the end of February, comprising one 37XP and two 26XPs vessels.
“After enjoying a truly bumper 2023 in terms of our sales, our whole team is looking forward to showcasing what we are capable of in 2024 and beyond, particularly through our unmatched expedition and explorer vessel such as the 30XP,” added Numarine founder and chairman Ömer Malaz.
