The statement made by Safiport included the following :
As Safiport Derince Port, one of the largest ports of Türkiye, during our Ro-Ro operations that we carry out carefully, it has been determined by our security units that the act of theft was committed by a person by stealing the keys of the vehicles in the port area.
As a result of this determination, the security camera records were examined and a complaint was immediately filed against the identified person and the identity information of the relevant person was handed over to the police units. As a result of the operation, the members of the theft network in question were sent to prison.
