Two LCM ships, built by Anadolu Shipyard (ADİK) for the Qatar Navy, were launched with a ceremony.
Within the scope of the contract for the supply project, signed between Anadolu Shipyard and Barzan Holdings, LCM ships, QL41 ISHAT and QL40 BROOG, built for the needs of the Qatar Armed Forces were launched.
LCM ships, length of 40 meters and a width of 7 meters, will be able to carry vehicles such as tanks and trucks with a total weight of 70 tons, or 120 soldiers. The ships, which can be used between beaches, military bases, ports, and oil platforms as well as amphibious operations, will reach a speed of 20 knots when loaded. The ships will be led by a commander and two crews.
