The 294-meter-long, 7-story Bahama Islands-flagged giant cruise ship named “Norwegian Jade” docked at Galataport Port with 1036 passengers, most of whom were American tourists. Passengers will visit the historical and touristic places of Istanbul until the evening. The ship will depart for Mykonos Island in Greece in the evening. Another 200 cruise ships are expected to arrive at Galataport Port in 2022. While the ship was approaching the port, the tourists in Eminönü took pictures of the ship.
“Ads for Turkey in the UK are very interesting”
Elizabeth Capaldi, one of the passengers on board, said, “We came from Glasgow, Scotland. The trip was very nice, we will stay here until the evening and go to Mykonos.” Garry Kevin, who stated that he came from Great Britain, said, “We came here from Santorini. Our tour started in Rome. The trip was nice. Turkey ads in the UK are very interesting. The sea and the places to visit look very beautiful. I can visit Turkey again soon.”
