Bahamian flagged cruise ships ‘Norwegian Jade’ and ‘Emerald Azzurra’ came to the port in Aydın’s Kuşadası district with 1114 tourists, mostly from the USA. Passengers going shopping in the touristic bazaars of the city made the shopkeepers smile. Kuşadası Port, one of the important stops of cruise tourism in the Mediterranean, had an active day today. Bahamian flagged Norwegian Jade and Emerald Azzurra, preferred by wealthy tourists, docked at Kuşadası Port this morning. Some of the 1114 tourists, mostly from the USA, who got off the two ships, left the port by bus to join the Ephesus and Virgin Mary’s House tour. Those who did not participate in the tour program stayed in the district center and shopped at the touristic markets. It is reported that Norwegian Jade, which weighs 93 thousand 502 tons, is 295 meters long and 33 meters wide, will make many trips to Kuşadası in the coming days.
