The General Directorate of Coastal Safety, which successfully maintains the safety of navigation in our seas with rescue, assistance services, navigational aid services, maritime communication services, pilotage, and tug services, signed a contract with Sanmar Shipyard to build 2 new emergency response tugs.
Coastal Safety’s General Manager Durmuş Ünüvar, co-founder of Sanmar Shipyard Orhan Gürün, Sanmar Shipyard’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and co-founder Ali Gürün, Chairman of the Ship, Yacht, and Services Exporters’ Association and the founding partner of Sanmar Shipping Cem Seven attended the signing ceremony of the 2 new emergency tugs named KURTARMA-17 and KURTARMA-18, at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety.
