Built by Tersan Shipyard for Russia’s Okeanrybflot company and Elkon is the electrical system integrator, the 108-meter Factory Fishing Vessel Vladimir Biryukov is ready to set out for Kamchatka.
The Factory Fishing Vessel named Vladimir Biryukov will be among the world’s largest purpose-built factory trawlers in size.
Designed by Skipsteknisk, the ship is 108 meters long and 20 meters wide and offers accommodation for up to 150 people. The ship, which can operate uninterruptedly for 11 months without returning to the port, was built under the supervision of the RMRS class, including significant ice reinforcements to carry the Russian flag, reefer notation, and one-person bridge notation.
