Oba Makarna took delivery of its new ship M/V ALPASLAN OBA, the ship formerly known as DOREEN. She is 188.64 meters long and 27.68 meters wide.
M/V ALPASLAN OBA, which will be operated by Savana Shipping, the shipping company of Oba Makarna, is the 5th and largest ship of Oba Makarna.
Oba Makarna established its own shipping company named Savana Shipping last spring. The company had invested in 10 thousand containers along with 2 container ships of 18 thousand tons.
Oba Makarna Chairman of the Board Musa Özgüçlü stated that they became unable to work cause of the difficulties experienced in logistics due to the corona and therefore they decided to establish their own maritime company.
