The meeting started with the opening speech of Lütfü Savaşkan, General Manager of Türk Loydu Conformity Assessment Services Inc., and continued with the agenda items.
Naval Ship Classification Association (NSCA) was established in 2001 to ensure that the naval ship rules and implementation studies of NATO member and military classification societies are carried out jointly and in coordination. The union, of which Türk Loydu presided for one term, consists of seven members, namely Türk Loydu, American Bureau of Shipping, Bureau Veritas, DNV, Lloyd’s Register, RINA, and Polish Register of Shipping.
Cem Melikoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Türk Loydu Foundation, thanked the participants at the end of the meeting and wished success to the members of the Association.
