Mengi Yay is pleased to announce that the NB 107 project has successfully reached water at its Tuzla facility on March 4ᵗʰ. This is the first major operation of 2023 for the Turkish Shipyard.
The exterior design of the NB107, which has unique features, belongs to Azerbaijan-based studio ABBASLI DESIGN, and the interior design belongs to Mengi Yay Yachts. Engineering calculations were prepared by Ginton Naval Architects.
Mengi Yay has proved that it is one of the best brands in Turkey in this field by producing wood and steel-aluminum yacht for 59 years. The shipyard has developed the heritage where received from our founder Ramazan Mengi in the best way and made it competitive with international brands. In accordance with the philosophy of Mengi Yay, performance does not come from brute power, but from smart engineering.
With 2 Cummins QSM11 machine, the boat has a distance of 610 nautical miles power 14 knots cruising speed. The robustness and integrity of this structure are ensured according to CE Category A class. NB 107 which has a maximum speed of 18 knots and crusing of 14 knots, can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins.
