Med Marine, one of Turkey’s leading tug manufacturers, delivered the tug with 120 tons of traction, which was built in line with the contract it signed with the Kenya Ports Authority.
The tug requested by the Kenya Ports Authority within the scope of modernization works will be used in Mombasa, which is the largest port in East Africa, and will be the largest tug on the Indian Ocean coast. The RAstar 4200 (MED-A42120) class tug was built and equipped by SOLAS requirements at Ereğli Shipyard of Med Marine.
