The General Directorate of Coastal Safety reported that the crews were directed to the region for the bulk carrier that had an engine failure in the Bosphorus.
In the statement made on the social media account of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety: “Our ‘Guide Captain’ and Rescue-9′ tugs were promptly directed to the ship for the 165-meter-long bulk carrier Valerio, which had an engine failure in the Bosphorus while cruising from Iskenderun to Istanbul.”
