It has been demanded that the subsistence allowance determined in February in the prices of foodstuffs should be increased according to today’s conditions.
Upon the request made for the re-determination of the subsistence cost, the Seafarers’ Subsistence Allowance Determination Board convened again on 06.09.2022. With the unanimous decision at the meeting, the daily cash subsistence allowance for seafarers was determined as 80 Turkish Liras.
