The MARIHEALTH Project, which will last for 24 months for the implementation of health education in the maritime sector, was organized under the leadership of TMMOB Chamber of Ship Machinery Management Engineers, Strathclyde University, Costanta Maritime University, Istanbul Technical University and Iskenderun Technical University.
“The 4th Global International Conference on Innovation in Marine Technology and the Future of Maritime Transportation – GMC’21” was held online on 18-19 November 2021.
The MariHEALTH Project aims to create a distance education module to fill the knowledge gaps of doctors about the environment and conditions of ships, as well as the medical education of sailors. While the trainees receive training in 24 different modules, they also have the chance to examine their current status with the evaluation modules.
The 5th meeting is completed
In this last meeting, which was held online with the participation of all partners due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Orka Informatics presented the example of its training modules.
