Türk P&I announced that they will complete and publish their documentary project soon, which is based on the mucilage that emerged in the Sea of Marmara last year, they started with the aim of drawing attention to the Sea of Marmara and marine pollution.
It is stated that many institutions and people, including municipalities, academics, marine biologists, associations, historians, activists, athletes, and artists, were interviewed within the scope of the project to stop the damage to the environment and marine pollution. It has been reported that the three-part documentary will be broadcast on a digital platform shortly.
Environmental awareness should be raised
Ufuk Teker, General Manager of Türk P&I, underlined that the Sea of Marmara did not die in his statement and said, “The Sea of Marmara can be rehabilitated, but we need to realize that there are very serious things we need to do in this regard, we need to rise to that awareness and our environmental responsibilities just like the earthquake reality.”
