Cruise tourism shows a great increase compared to last year, while 11 ships in total landed at the ports last year, this number has already reached 437 this year.
According to the data announced by the General Directorate of Maritime Trade, a total of 437 cruise ships landed in Turkish ports in the first 7 months of 2022. The busiest ports in terms of passenger traffic were Kuşadası (212,486 passengers), Istanbul Galataport (98,033 passengers), and Bodrum Port (28,529 passengers). Last year, only 11 cruise ships were able to land at Turkish ports due to the effects of the pandemic.
Great interest in the first domestic cruise ship
