The status of port authorities was changed, with the Presidential Decree Amending the Presidential Decrees. The announcement in the Official Gazette, a change was made in the structuring of the port authorities affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
21 regional port directorates were established throughout the country, according to the decision published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, while other port directorates were attached to these regional directorates.
The following lists have been added to come after the list of “Ministry Provincial Organization Regional Directorates” in the charter numbered (I) attached to the Seventeenth Section of the Sixteenth Section of the Sixth Section of the Presidential Decree on the status of the Regional Port Authorities, and the list of “Port Authorities” in the same Section has been abolished.”
It is expected that the names appointed to the regional port directorates will be announced with a new Presidential decree in the coming days.
REGIONAL PORT PRESIDENTS
The headquarters and affiliated ports of the newly established Regional port directorates are as follows,
- While the headquarters of Aliağa Regional Port Authority became Aliağa, Ayvalık and Dikili Port Authority were connected to Aliağa Regional Port Authority.
- While the headquarters of Ambarlı Regional Port Authority became Ambarlı, Silivri Port Authority was connected here.
- Antalya became the center of Antalya Regional Port Authority, and Alanya, Finike, Kaş, Kemer, and Manavgat Ports were connected here.
- Bandırma Regional Port Authority’s headquarters became Bandırma, while Erdek and Marmara Island ports were connected to Bandırma Regional Port Authority.
- While the headquarters of Bodrum Regional Port Authority became Bodrum, Gulluk Port was connected here.
- While the headquarters of Ceyhan Regional Port Authority became Ceyhan, Karataş Port was connected here.
- While Çanakkale became the headquarters of the Çanakkale Regional Port Authority, Bozcaada, Edremit, Gökçeada, and Karabiga Ports were connected to this port.
- While the center of Gemlik Regional Port Authority became Gemlik, Mudanya Port was connected here.
- The headquarters of İskenderun Regional Port Authority became İskenderun.
- While the headquarters of the Istanbul Regional Port Authority became Istanbul, Igneada, Sile, and Tatvan Ports were connected here.
- While the center of İzmir Regional Port Authority was İzmir, Çeşme, Foça, and Kuşadası Port Authorities were connected here.
- Black Sea Ereğli Regional Port Authority’s headquarters became Karadeniz Ereğli, and Karasu Port was connected here.
- Kocaeli Regional Port Authority’s headquarters became Kocaeli, while Kefken Port was connected here.
- Marmaris became the center of Marmaris Regional Port Authority, while Datça, Fethiye, and Göcek Ports were connected to this place.
- Mersin became the headquarters of Mersin Regional Port Authority, and Anamur, Taşucu Port was connected here.
- While Samsun became the headquarters of Samsun Regional Port Authority, Ayancık, Fatsa, Gerze, İnebolu, Ordu, Sinop, and Ünye Ports were connected here.
- Tekirdag Regional Port Authority’s headquarters became Tekirdag, and Enez Port was connected here.
- Trabzon was the center of Trabzon Regional Port Authority, while Giresun, Görele, Hopa, Pazar, Rize, Sürmene, Tirebolu, Vakfikebir ports were connected to this place.
- Tuzla Regional Port Authority’s headquarters became Tuzla.
- Yalova Regional Port Authority’s headquarters became Yalova.
- The headquarters of Zonguldak Regional Port Authority became Zonguldak, while the ports of Amasra, Bartın, and Cide were connected here.
