RMK Marine is starting the construction of a new yacht named ER65 designed by ER Yacht Design. The 65-meter-long explorer superyacht, which can travel in all kinds of difficult conditions, will be the flagship of RMK Marine’s yacht division.
Özgür Numan, Yacht Department Manager at RMK Marine, said, “When we first saw the yacht’s general arrangements, we fell in love with her elegance and elegant sheer line, which is quite rare nowadays. We are very excited about the idea of making this vessel. The ER65 will also be the largest yacht to be built at RMK Marine in terms of length and volume. However, RMK has built and delivered a large number of commercial vessels above 150 meters so far. In addition, we have built a large number of Ice Class ships according to arctic standards at our shipyard.”
The ER65 will blend majestic living with rugged exploration. Her interior design will be clean and minimalist without sacrificing comfort. ER65 will have a library, sauna, gym, beach club, massage room, and medical center. There will also be accommodation for 12 guests and 20 crew members. Ivan Erdevicki, Founder and CEO of ER Yacht Design, said: “This is the kind of project a yacht designer has been waiting for all its life. The owner wanted a long-range go-anywhere project specifically designed for an expedition motor yacht with a stylish and timeless-classic look, and we got it. For many years, the ER65 will be used as a true reconnaissance ship, constantly circling the world. The owner plans to visit the polar regions as well as the tropical regions of the world.”
The ER65 will be built to strict Lloyd’s Ice Class standards and arctic class requirements – one of the few yachts to hold the Polar Code Category B – Ice Class PC 6 designation.
The ER65 will feature an innovative hybrid propulsion system, not just Ice Class, a helipad with a refueling station, a deep-water submarine with a special waterproof compartment, Jet Skis, and other equipment, as well as there will be a garage for 2 eight-meter custom-built scouts.
RMK Marin will begin construction of the ER65 superyacht in the third quarter of this year and will deliver her in the summer of 2025.
