YaSa Denizcilik, a subsidiary of YA SA Holding, where Yalçın Sabancı is the Chairman of the Board of Directors, added a new ship to its fleet.
Istanbul-based YA SA Shipping has purchased a new general cargo ship. The ship named YASA Spring, built-in 2011, is 295 meters long, 46 meters wide, and carries the Marshall Islands flag.
On the other hand, YaSa Shipping signed a contract with Daehan Shipbuilding Corporation for two ships in 2019. According to the agreement, each of the new ships will have a capacity of 158,000 DWT. Suezmax tankers, which will have a length of 274 meters and a width of 48 meters, are planned to be delivered in January 2022.
