Project Blue, the biggest superyacht of this year and built by Lürssen Shipyard, was launched. The giant, 158-meter-long superyacht, which will be delivered in 2023, was planned to be launched the previous week, but the ceremony was delayed by one week due to adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Eunice.
Project Blue, which was implemented as one of the largest superyachts in the world, took 5th place the 100 largest yachts. In this way, another Lürssen production, the 156-meter Dilbar, fell to 6th place. Project Blue took second place in the Lürssen fleet after the 180.6-meter Azzam, which is also a Lürssen-built and world’s largest superyacht.
Project Blue is one of the most mysterious superyacht projects ever in terms of construction stages and project details. The custom-built superyacht is known to be 21 meters wide.
