Vestrefjord project number NB215, the last of the 3 electric ferries built under the contract between Sedef Shipyard and Norwegian Boreal, was sent off to Norway.
The electric ferry named Vestrefjord, which was delivered to the Norwegian company Boreal by Sedef Shipyard, has a capacity of 399 passengers and 120 vehicles. The 108.80-meter, 17.70-meter electric ferry named Vestrefjord has been classified by DNV GL.
Vestrefjord is the third ship of the series, one of which has a capacity of 60 vehicles and 250 passengers, and two of them with a capacity of 120 vehicles and 399 passengers, built by Sedef Shipyard. Vestrefjord, like her siblings Malmefjord with project number NB212 and Tomrefjord with project number NB213, is an environmentally friendly and advanced technology project with zero-emission features.
