Çeksan Shipyard launched the 8,000 dwt chemical tanker called Başaran Bayrak, which is built for its fleet.
Cihan Bayrak, Çeksan Shipyard’s Operations Manager, pointed out that the construction processes of two ships to be used in their fleets are still ongoing and said, “Our chemical tankers are 117.9 meters long and 17 meters wide. We plan to put the first of the existing ships into service in June- July 2022, and we plan to put the other into service around February 2023. The total investment cost of the ships is around 30 million dollars.”
The Marineline coating of the cargo tanks of the chemical tanker, which is 117 meters long and 17 meters wide, will begin next week.
