Safiport’s fourth STS arrived at the port area and the Crane has been taken to the container dock. Safiport’s ability to serve tiger ships over 350 meters has increased with the 4th STS docked at the container pier with a depth of 18 meters and a length of 450 meters.
Due to the purchase of new equipment in Safiport’s equipment fleet, the number of STSs increased to 4, the number of RTGs to 14, the number of mobile port cranes with a capacity of 125 tons to 4, the number of forklifts to 40 and the number of terminal container tractors to 28.
Safiport’s Super Post Panamax sized STS cranes can serve the vessels called “Ultra Large Container Vessel”. Cranes are able to operate containers from the 23rd order on the ship.
