Adnan Erdal, Chairman of the Board of ITU Maritime Faculty Alumni Association’s (DEFAMED) Chairman and Turkish P&I’s General Manager Capt. Ufuk Teker, visited Binali Yıldırım, Former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the last Prime Minister, and AK Party Deputy Chairman. During the visit, former Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communication Ahmet Arslan, former General Manager of Marine and Inland Waters Regulation Cemalettin Şevli, and UZMAR Experts Maritime Board Chairman Eng. Ahmet Noyan Altug was present.
Reconstruction of the school was discussed
Binali Yıldırım was informed about the current situation of the ITU Maritime Faculty Binali Yıldırım Student Dormitory, which was built with his support as the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications, and the needs of the students staying in the dormitory were conveyed. Yıldırım, who was also informed about the works related to the demolition and reconstruction of the earthquake-proof buildings of the school, was also invited to traditional meetings and organizations such as Fish Day held at the school.
