Gürdoğan stated that as DKİB, they continue their search for new markets with exporters, and they will promote Turkish salmon by participating in Europe’s largest aquaculture fair, which will be held in Spain on April 26-28.
Stating that in the fair titled “Seafood Expo Global” to be held in Barcelona, fresh, frozen, and fillet products of Turkish salmon will be exhibited at the 42 square meters stand they will open as DKİB, as well as the features of the product, its differences compared to other products, and its superiorities will be explained in the promotional brochures, Gürdoğan said
“Buyers from many countries of the world participate in this fair, negotiate and establish connections. At the fair, some of the companies in the Eastern Black Sea Region will open their promotional stands, and some will participate as visitors and hold bilateral meetings with their customers at the stand of our association. We are hopeful that we will find new markets by introducing the superiorities of Black Sea salmon to the European buyers who will attend the fair.”
Gürdoğan also stated that within the scope of the project they carry out, they will organize marketing activities with the producers in the region towards the countries that import the most salmon, adding that they want to complete the year with good figures in Turkish salmon exports and that they have high expectations.
