The tugs SL Ibo, SL Matemo, and SL Macaloe, built under the contract signed between Uzmar Shipyard and Smit Lamnalco Singapore, were sent off to their new duty station, Singapore. With a length of 42 meters, a width of 16 meters and a draft of 6.6 meters, the Rastar4200 series tugs designed by Robert Allan have a pulling power of 85 tons.
She can also perform ROV operations
Another order of the company, SL Quirimbas, the MPV 4600 exhibition tug designed by OSD IMT Ship Design & Marine Consultancy, is expected to depart in the coming days. The 46.20-meter tug offers 95 tons of traction. Equipped with a 6.5 tonne 18.5m offshore crane, the tug will also be used to facilitate cargo voyages, towing operations, dive support, and ROV operations.
Owns 160 sea vehicles
A contract was signed between Uzmar Shipyard and Smit Lamnalco Singapore for three newly built RAstar 4200 Class terminal/escort tugs and one newly built MPV 4600 multipurpose tug.
