A fine of 3 million 108 thousand 530 liras was imposed on the Liberian-flagged ship that polluted the sea off Eskihisar.
During the aerial control of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department with a seaplane, a ship was detected that discharged wastewater into the sea off the Gulf of Izmit, Eskihisar.
The samples were taken by going to the ship by boat, upon notification. A fine of 3 million 108 thousand 530 liras was imposed on a Liberian-flagged ship polluting the sea. Cleaning work has begun in the sea.
