The incident occurred off the Samsun Port. According to the information obtained, Safa Ibrahimov (60), an Azerbaijani who was working on a foreign-flagged cargo ship, was found dead in his room. The death of the Azerbaijani sailor was found suspicious and an investigation was launched into the incident.
Ibrahimov’s body was taken to the morgue of Samsun Education and Research Hospital for autopsy. It was learned that the exact cause of death will be determined by autopsy.
