According to the agreement, signed between Turkey and TRNC, and published in the Resmi Gazete (Official Gazette), a (Ship) Traffic Surveillance Station will be established in Zafer Burnu (in Dipkarpaz) and Zeytinlik Region.
According to the “Protocol (Approval) Law on the Establishment of the Ship Traffic Services System” signed between Turkey and the TRNC on January 14, 2021, a Traffic Surveillance Station will be established at Zafer Burnu and Zeytinlik Burnu Lighthouse.
At the same time, the lighthouse located in the Zeytinlik Region will be converted into a Ship Traffic Surveillance Station. The law was passed on April 11, 2022.
