“We hope that this success will continue at the end of 2022”
The Ship, Yacht, and Services Exporters’ Association Chairman Cem Seven stated that as the Ship Yacht and Services Exporters’ Association, they take their exports one step further every year.
Seven said, “The high increase in exports in both January and February of 2022 raises our hopes that we will renew our export record that we broke in 2021 on an annual basis. According to the figures announced, we succeeded in being the sector that increased its exports the most in Turkey in February compared to the previous year.”
Pointing out that the products that are subject to the export of the sector, contain advanced technology and have very high export prices per unit, and Seven said,
“Sometimes, even the delivery of 1 or 2 ships or yachts above the average can raise the figures monthly. For this reason, our success criterion in terms of export figures is to regulate the annual increase at least rather than monthly figures.
As the Ship Yacht and Services Exporters’ Association, we have been increasing our sector exports every year since 2018, as a result of the international promotional activities we have carried out and the diligent efforts of our companies operating in our sector, and we have been recording the highest export figures in our union history for the last 2 years. We hope that this success will continue at the end of 2022.”
