Organized in Bodrum and the biggest sailing race in the Mediterranean, the American Hospital The Bodrum Cup races started on October 18, 2022, with the Bodrum – Çökertme stage. Yesterday, the wooden yachts sailing in the races that continued with the Çökertme – Kisebükü stage witnessed colorful scenes. Even though the racers, who continued to race fiercely, had a hard time from time to time, the presence of the wind made the racers happy.
The sailing yachts that came to the start line in Çökertme Bay in the early hours of the morning started to move quickly with the effect of the wind. About 1500 athletes participated in the highly competitive sailing race, 75 sailings enlivened the blue seas. After the completion of the Kisebükü stage, the races will continue with the Kisebükü – Gümüşlük race, then the Gümüşlü – Bodrum stage and will end with Bodrum – Bodrum stage.
After the award ceremony, the contestants will enjoy the night to the fullest with the Atena concert. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Bodrum Health Foundation.
