“We are taking important steps to make the sector a brand”

Noting that they have completed the first step in line with their January export amounts and targets announced by TİM, Seven said:
“As of the official figures announced, our ship and yacht sector exports grew by 69% compared to the previous year and reached 71 million dollars, and our sector managed to become one of the 3 sectors with the highest export increase of Turkey in January.
When we look at the breakdown of the items that make up our exports in January, our tug exports to South American countries and Canada attracted attention. Our tug exports to Norway, the most important market of our sector, were followed by exports in the fishing vessel product group, where our sector is one of the most important brands in the world. In addition to these, our exports of tankers, barges, various ships, and floating structures to other countries are noteworthy.”
Stating that as GYHİB, they continue to take important steps to make the sector a brand, with the “The Art On Water” project, which they have started to tell the whole world about Turkey’s skills in ship and yacht building, and many international fair organizations that they will organize with Turkish national participation, Seven made the following assessment:
“We hope that the positive situation that has been reflected in the figures for our sector for a long time will continue in the rest of the year and will be crowned with a new record by the end of the year. I congratulate our stakeholders, exporters, and sector workers who have a share in the current successes and wish their success to continue.”
