QTerminals Antalya, Türkiye’s leading commercial cargo and cruise port, hosted the Malta-flagged luxury cruise ship Mein Schiff 6. The 295-meter-long, 98811-gross giant ship anchored in the port has 2301 passengers and 918 crew. Passengers who got off the ship visited the historical places of Antalya and shopped. The ship Mein Schiff 6 was last in Antalya in 2018.
Özgür Sert, General Manager of QTerminals Antalya, said, “This year has been a busy year in terms of cruise tourism. In line with the reservations, we have hosted nearly 10 thousand passengers who came with 15 cruise ships so far. By the end of the year, we anticipate that we will reach about 35 thousand passengers with 38 cruise ships in line with reservations.
QTerminals Antalya has an important role in terms of domestic and international tourism in the Mediterranean with the capacity of its port facilities and service quality. We are making Antalya a new return center in the Eastern Mediterranean with its current potential.”
QTerminals Antalya Port, which has two cruise piers with a total length of 370 meters, has a passenger terminal of 1830 square meters and a luggage area of 1000 square meters serving cruise passengers.
QTerminals Antalya, one of the ports with the highest development potential in Türkiye, is the largest organized port on the 700 nautical miles of coastline between Izmir and Mersin. Hosting approximately 200,000 passengers a year, QTerminals Antalya offers cruise ships pilotage, tugs, mooring, sheltering, security, clean water supply, and waste collection services as well as full terminal services including baggage handling.
