Keel laying ceremony for Acta Marine’s 2nd CSOV

Acta Marine celebrated the keel laying ceremony for their DP2 Construction Service Operation Vessel NB1121 at Tersan Shipyard in Türkiye.

Designed in close cooperation with Ulstein Design & Solutions AS, the vessel is powered with Methanol and MDO/HVO and includes TWIN-X stern, an integrated walk-to-work gangway system from SMST, 3D crane with 6 tons of lifting capacity, and the hotel styled accommodation areas.

The vessel, with 500 m2 indoor and 500 m2 outdoor cargo areas, is 89 meters long and 19 meters wide and will be able to accommodate up to 135 people in 85 cabins.

The vessel is the second to be built by Tersan Shipyard, following the vessel SX216, which celebrated its keel laying ceremony in February this year. Acta Marine’s two vessels are aiming to provide a short, efficient and safe transfer of personnel and cargo even in the harsh weather conditions where the level of waves reaches up to 3.00 meters.
