In this context, Marlow Navigation, which manages personnel in the world maritime market, has 18000 employees on 1100 ships, entered the Turkish maritime sector with AVS seven years ago and accomplished successful works, joined forces with Nordic Hamburg, under the leadership of AVS.
Nordic Hamburg, which has been providing commercial leasing, project development, commercial management, new construction, and corporate services in the German maritime sector since 2006, announced that it aims to develop business plans to close the gap in this field in the Turkish maritime sector.
Abdülvahit Şimşek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AVS, said in a statement that in the synergy created as AVS, Nordic Hamburg, and Marlow Navigation, everyone has responsibilities in their field, Nordic Hamburg’s technical management, Marlow Navigation’s crew management, and AVS’s general supply point, they will create larger business volumes both in the Turkish and the global market.
The management team of three companies experienced in their fields came together at the event. The Turkish representative of Marlow Navigation, Diederik Legger, and his wife also took part in the event, which was attended by the managers of Nordic Hamburg from various parts of the world (Ukraine, Singapore, Germany, Netherlands), which held its annual evaluation meeting in Türkiye on the same dates.
