French Andrea Brignone, one of the world’s leading financial advisors, came to Turkey for a series of investments under the leadership of CNA, an investment consultancy company. Brignone, which will provide financial resources for the billion-dollar huge projects to be built in Turkey in the coming period, gave pre-approval to 8 projects, including the hydrogen-powered Green Ship.
“We have full trust in the Turkish economy”
Andrea Brignone, speaking at the press conference, expressed his pleasure to be a part of such a project. Stating that he trusts the Turkish economy, Brignone said, “Investment is not just about numbers. We do not make short-term plans. There is inflation, yes, but we plan our investments for the long term. We have full trust in the Turkish economy.”
“The production will be in our shipyard”
Explaining that they came to Turkey for 8 projects to be implemented, Brignone said, “There are very interesting and rational projects. One of these projects is the green ship that will run on hydrogen. We are planning to build this ship, which will run on completely environmentally friendly, low-emission, clean energy, in our shipyard. Apart from our shipyard and ship investment, we will build greenhouses to be equipped with geothermal heat. We aim to produce completely natural foods.”
Hakan Yağlı, Chairman of the Board of CNA Yatırım Danışmanlık and AYN Enerji İnşaat (CNA Investment Consulting and AYN Energy Construction), who brought Brignone to Turkey, said that he examined many projects and gave preliminary approval for 8 projects to be realized in Turkey. Stating that the documents of these projects will reach international funds quickly through Brignone, Yağlı said, “Turkey will meet with these projects one by one in the coming period.”
“It shows the trust in the Turkish economy”
Stating that the project investments will exceed 1 billion dollars, Hakan Yağlı said, “Especially the Green Ship Project, which is carried out under the leadership of ship machinery management engineer, energy expert Prof. Dr. Ziya Söğüt, important projects such as the geothermal greenhouse project to be built in 10 different cities of Turkey and the geothermal health island project to be built on the south coast of Turkey are among the studies we have agreed on for funding.”
Explaining that the Green Ship Project, which will run with hydrogen, is coming to an end and that they aim to start production soon, Hakan Yağlı said, “We will take our steps thanks to the funds coming from abroad. We will implement the ship in the shipyard we will establish in Bandırma or Yalova. We will set up greenhouses to be heated with geothermal waters in 10 different places, especially in Bursa Yenişehir and Aydın. In this system, which is called a smart greenhouse, there will be sensors. We will be able to do irrigation amount, heating adjustment, and soil analysis with computers. The cost of heating will be much less than other greenhouses and we will produce efficient agricultural products.”
Stating that the coming of international funds to our country is an indication of the trust in Turkey’s future, Yağlı said, “We, as CNA, have taken a step towards having new business areas in our country by bringing Brignone to Turkey. Now is the time to reach out to the future with healthier projects and a common mind. In the coming days, you will begin to hear the details of these projects one by one. In these days when the world is going through difficult economic times, this news will also be a source of morale for our nation.”
