World-famous Gerard Depardieu will spend his time in Turkey and Dubai from now on. The fishing boat that the French actor will use as a home in Turkey has been converted into a ‘yacht’ in Tuzla. The 58-year-old boat named Notre Dame D’Afrique was brought from Marseille.
World-famous French actor Gerard Depardieu, who became a Russian citizen in 2013, told L’Obs magazine about the new decisions he made about his life. The famous actor said that he wants to live less in his country and spend time in Istanbul and Dubai. 73-year-old Depardieu stated that he was after a more peaceful life and said that he hoped to find this peace by sailing the waves.
Depardieu said that he bought two big fishing boats. “One of them is in Dubai, and I turned my boat in Istanbul, which is used for tuna fishing, into an apartment.” Depardieu, who stated that he would go to France to shoot a film, but that he did not want to live in the country where he was born, said that he also put his vineyards and his house in Paris up for sale.
