Also known as NB52, Far Niente was launched from the SES Yachts shipyard in Tuzla, Istanbul.
Construction on Far Niente began in 2022, under the construction name Tradewind, with the name Far Niente borrowed from the Italian meaning of “doing nothing.” The classic expedition yacht features exterior design and naval architecture by Netherlands-based Hoek Design Naval Architects.
Built with a steel hull and wooden superstructure, with varnished teak finishing and teak decks, Far Niente is perfect for global adventures. Her design takes inspiration from the heritage and legacy of classic workboats, with a strong and purposeful superstructure and profile.
Far Niente showcases a spacious main saloon, which flows seamlessly into her dining area. Further forward, the first of her staterooms can be found, with her forward-facing owner’s stateroom situated at the bow.
The remaining guest staterooms can be found on the lower deck, consisting of two mirrored double staterooms and two mirrored twins, all of which have their own private ensuite bathroom.
A key highlight onboard Far Niente is her expansive exterior deck spaces, of which her upper deck boasts an alfresco dining area and lounge seating at her stern. An internal skylounge offers guests a chance to relax inside, with classic windows providing stunning views.
According to SYT iQ, SES Yachts also has a sailing yacht in-build in Turkey. The 39.34-metre Linnea Aurora yacht has an expected delivery date of 2024.
Far Niente will be available for charter this season with Classic Charters as her central agent.
