On the ship, which set off from Colombia and reported its destination as Mersin Port, 800 kg of cocaine with a market value of 108.2 million Euros was seized during the search made by the security forces in Malta.
According to the information obtained by HaberDenizde.com, the cocaine was found hidden in 1.200 banana boxes.
Previously, 1 ton of 300 kg and 1 ton of cocaine were seized in containers loaded with bananas, brought to Mersin Port from Ecuador.
