The vessel was launched at its Tuzla facility on July 9 and after the successful sea trials was delivered to the owner. The vessel features interior and exterior design by VYD Studio and engineering calculations by Ginton Naval Architects B.V.
Reflecting the shipyard’s philosophy that performance arises from smart engineering, not just sheer power, Reverie boasts optimized use of space and meticulously planned comfort standards. The seamless integration of the high-voltage electrical system sets Reverie apart, enabling extended periods of “silent mode” operation, enhancing the onboard experience.
Reverie is the latest addition to Mengi Yay’s impressive Virtus series, following the successful delivery of its sibling, Gisa, earlier this year. The yacht, measuring 39.4 meters, demonstrates VYD Studio’s dedication to maximizing space and providing top-notch comfort standards, despite its compact form.
Equipped with twin Caterpillar engines, Reverie achieves a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 12.2 knots, and an impressive range of 2,200 nautical miles.
Mengi Yay Yachts was founded in 1964 in Turkey. Now the company owns one of the largest (19,365 sq m) yards that were specifically designed for the refit and refurbishment of existing craft as well as the manufacturing of the new motor and sailing yachts.
