Hürok Mermer, which operates in marble production in Kütahya, found its logistics problem in chartering an open ship with 5 warehouses of about 250 thousand square meters. Hürok Mermer’s worries in this difficult process came to an end when the ship landed in Miami Port of America.
The ship named George with 5 warehouses, which they sent off from İzmir Ali Ağa Port, docked at Miami Port and unloading started quickly.
Kamil Olçar, CEO of Hurok Marble LLC, America Storehouse of Hürok Mermer, said, “It was a great honor to welcome the ship we sent off here. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this road, which is an important export move.”
Olçar stated that they completed the unloading of the ship quickly.
The products are ready to meet new customers now, which are difficult to deliver to customers due to the container problem in global trade and rising logistics costs.
