Seckin Uz has been appointed as the managing director of SCHOTTEL Turkey, effective from 1 January 2022. He has extensive experience and expertise in the field of ship propulsion.
As of January 1, 2022, Uz, who became the managing director of SCHOTTEL Turkey, completed his education at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. After graduating, he worked at Berg Propulsion’s offices in the Asia/Pacific and the Middle East region- later became the general manager of Caterpillar Marine’s Dubai and Istanbul offices. He also specializes in market development, new sales, technical sales and after-sales service.
SCHOTTEL has been active since the 1970s and has a large customer base. The Istanbul branch of the company was officially established in January 2019, and in a short time, it has become one of the most important shipping centers in the world, thanks to its proximity to customers.
